Objective: The current research examines the drivers of future construction in the security environment of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Method: This research seeks to answer the question, what are the drivers of future construction in the security environment of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran? In this descriptive-analytical article, the statistical population of top experts, managers and officials of the army and the country, and faculty members who have a research background in the field of future studies and are familiar with the issues of the Caucasus region was determined to the number of 30 people.
Collecting information is a library and field method. Data analysis has been done in a quantitative and qualitative manner using Chi-square test.
Findings: In the results of the research, 575 drivers were identified and summarized into 21 titles after scoring by the expert group.
Originality: according to which the most important drivers in the research results; The alignment of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the anti-Iranian, American, NATO and Zionist regime strategies for geopolitical isolation and containment of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the next priority; De-ideologicalization and creation of religious challenges and efforts to eliminate religious tendencies in the region from the point of view of laicism were identified as the second most important driver in the emergence of security
