Population is one of the fundamental components of a country's national authority, and national authority is the preserver of a country's identity, a source of dignity, and a means of achieving its ideals. This qualitative study examines demographic imbalances in Iran’s security and defense authority Using expert opinions from national security and social sciences along with available data the research highlights how imbalances in population composition distribution movements and quality impact social cultural political and economic factors thereby affecting national security
Issues like declining birth rates population aging and migration imbalances reduce the young capable workforce for military and security roles stemming from flawed policies cultural shifts and lifestyle changes These imbalances threaten Iran’s demographic structure and pose challenges to its security and defense authority
To address this a comprehensive plan is needed to balance demographic structures focusing on composition distribution movements and quality Simultaneously improving economic political cultural and social conditions enhancing security and defense systems and upgrading military and security professions can mitigate the effects of these imbalances A scientific approach to demographic changes and structural reforms is essential for long-term stability and security
In conclusion addressing demographic imbalances through strategic planning and systemic improvements is crucial for maintaining Iran’s national authority and ensuring its security and defense resilience
