The geopolitical territorialization of the Zionist regime in the Persian Gulf is pursued through developing relations with Arab states in order to contain Iran, overcome internal problems, exploit existing rifts among Islamic countries, increase pressure on Palestinian groups—especially Hamas—accelerate the peace process with Arab countries of the region to gain U.S. approval, prevent Iran from becoming the regional hegemon, expand economic interactions, overcome domestic and international challenges, establish a balance of power with other regional powers, and create new regional threats against Iran. Ultimately, this process will lead to the formation of patterns of relations based on Arab–Zionist regime friendship and Iran–Arab hostility in the region.
This article aims to examine “the impact of the geopolitical territorialization of the Zionist regime in the Persian Gulf on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” For this purpose, a descriptive method with a qualitative approach has been employed.
