: Abstract:
Iran is situated in one of the world's most geopolitically sensitive regions, and the Indian subcontinent, as a pivotal point at the intersection of Central Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, holds significant importance in Iran's foreign policy. Therefore, this research, employing a mixed-method approach and relying on high-level governmental documents, field data, and expert opinions, aims to delineate the vision and grand objectives influencing the enhancement of the Islamic Republic of Iran's geopolitical position in the Indian subcontinent. The findings of this study indicate that the Islamic Republic of Iran, through the realization of grand objectives including: expanding economic and energy cooperation, strengthening cultural and historical relations, scientific and technological collaboration, countering international sanctions and pressures, reinforcing political and diplomatic relations, security and military cooperation, supporting the unity of the Islamic world, strengthening public and media diplomacy, and developing communication and transit infrastructures, will enhance its geopolitical position in the Indian subcontinent while consolidating its status as a key regional actor.
