The issue of safety and the factors affecting its creation are considered as one of the fundamental pillars of protecting the lives of employees and guaranteeing the fulfillment of missions in all organizations, including military organizations. The purpose of this study is to investigate and rank the factors affecting employee safety management in military organizations.
This research has been conducted in terms of applied purpose and analytical-descriptive method. The research population includes Payvar employees from three categories: non-commissioned officers, junior officers, and senior officers. Also, the sampling method was stratified-random, and accordingly, 403 people were selected. In this study, a 37-item questionnaire was used to collect data regarding workplace safety climate. Also, a one-sample t-test with the hypothesis (µ=3) was used to analyze the obtained data. The findings indicate that the organization under study has been able to achieve the desired goals related to managerial accountability with an average of 3.6, safety awareness and awareness with an average of 3.59, safety communication with an average of 3.52, management commitments with an average of 3.15, risk perception with an average of 3, and environmental safety with an average of 2.73, respectively. The results of this research can serve as a guide for commanders and managers for greater prevention and safety in the workplace
